For my very first post, I decided to pick the relatively new Friendship is Magic set. It comes with Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle, Princess Celestia, Applejack, and Spike. I like the set, but I'm not a big fan of the toys with plastic hair.
Release Date: 2012
Value: Since it's still available in most stores, it's only worth about $25-30 for a NIB set. Loose, I would say maybe $3 per pony and $5 for the Princess.
